Thoroughly clean the beans with water

air dry
3.
roast the whole bean
4.
separate the shell – i.e. “winnow” the beans. (Smash them up with a small hammer or a hammer like tool to separate shell and throw them in the air in a breeze. The light shell will blow away, the heavier nib will fall back in your tray. Like separating wheat from chaff.)
5.
grind the nib in a coffee grinder or normal mixer grinder
This is the cocoa powder
NOW
continuous grinding of cocoa powder (long time) will make that powder into a liquid state.that is what cocoa liquor or cocoa mass. squess that mass with a cotton cloth or press the cocoa mass with a pressor machine will give us raw cocoa butter.but this is a difficult task in home.
organic raw cocoa butter is better than any other refined store bought chemically bleached cocoa butter.
